Allison is an award-winning freelance journalist based out of Chicago, covering a range of issues — from reproductive health care access to city news and arts coverage. She spent three years as the local government reporter for the Cap Times in Madison after working as a government watchdog reporter for USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. She has worked for a variety of publications over the years — check out her work below.
